Spain - Chanel - SloMo

Juicy
Spain gave us a National preselection this year. Benidorm Fest 2022.
The competition was won by Chanel (Chanel Terrero Martínez) with the song SloMo (Not a tribute to Mr. Arzi but it stands for Slow Motion).
SloMo is written by Leroy Sanchez, Keith Harris, Ibere Fortes, Maggie Szabo and Arjen Thonen.
The digital single was released on December 24.
The version used at the contest (The Eurovision's Dancebreak edit) was released the morning after the contest.

The vinyl picture disc includes four versions.
It's shaped like a mango (inspired by the line Te endulzo la cara en jugo de mango (I sweeten your face in mango juice) and was finally released on November 11 (BMG 538822625)
It's pricy: Fnac Spain has it and so does La Casa Del Disco (International postage14,99)  UK + international: Townsend (Sold Out)



2024 ¡Agua!
Chanel's album ¡Agua! was released on CD and LP in January 2024. It includes the single version of SloMo.
The vinyl LP is light blue transparent vinyl.

The three night Benidorm Fest selection also featured Eurovision legends Azúcar Moreno but their Postureo didn't make it to the final. 

A promo CD with all Benidorm Fest songs was issued by TVE.

  1. The official music video contains a muffled dance break part, but as I know, there will be a little revamp for Eurovision.

  2. The karaoke verson in the official album is a little bit different from the original song.

  3. The versions used in the music video, Benidorm Fest and ESC, respectively, are 3 unique edits.

  4. The performance version (ESC version), which was in the final in Turin is not the single version or the version on the official album.
    This is a version with a different overture and trumpets and its official single is available immediately upon completion of the grand finale.
