The digital single was released on March 25.
The promo cd single has the Eurovision and instrumental versions.

The Circus didn't wanna publish their intended video: "Due to the war in Ukraine, we feel that it is not the right time to release our happy and colorful music video."
Later they came up with a video-ish thing which was basically a picture with some moving bits. On April 1 the intended video was released after all.

Latvia - Citi Zēni - Eat Your Salad

14 - 55 pts in semi 1
Pop Rap collective Citi Zēni (translates as "the other boys" won Latvia's Supernova selection and travelled to Turin with the song Eat Your Salad.
  • The song is written by band members Dagnis Roziņš,
  • Jānis Pētersons and
  • Roberts Memmēns. The digital single was released on January 13.
  • The other members are Reinis Višķeris, Krišjānis Ozols and Toms Kagainis.

I thought the original version would be too explicit for the EBU (Big Giant Head of Eurovision) but it made it to the official album. At the contest the naughty about eating unmentionables were muted but the audience filled it in obediently. The peach and sausage bits remained intact.
    The new video is here.

At one point there were two digital singles, one marked explicit and one not. Both were exactly the same version and the explicit one is now removed so the boys have the original explicit version now listed as safe for all ages.

  • Even though one digital release was marked explicit and one not, there's only one version of the Salad song.
